Fine line
Delicate, thin lines with minimal shading. Fine line is elegant and subtle, perfect for small symbols, script, florals and minimalist designs. It’s our most requested style and a favourite first tattoo.
Best for: small to medium pieces, wrists, forearms, collarbones and ankles.
Realism
Portraits, animals and objects rendered to look like a photograph, usually in black and grey. Realism needs space and skilled shading, so it’s often done as a medium or large piece.
Best for: forearms, upper arms, thighs, back pieces.
Japanese
Bold outlines, rich colour and traditional imagery like koi, dragons, waves, peonies and tigers. Japanese work flows with the body and looks incredible as sleeves and back pieces.
Colour
From soft watercolour washes to saturated, punchy colour work. Colour tattoos need extra care in the sun – always protect healed colour with high-SPF sunscreen to keep it vibrant.
Flowers and botanicals
Roses, peonies, frangipani and wildflowers – a timeless choice in fine line, black and grey or full colour. A Bali frangipani makes a beautiful holiday memory.
Blackwork, tribal and mandala
Bold black ink, geometric patterns and sacred-geometry mandalas. These styles age extremely well and make a strong statement.
Old school
Classic American traditional: thick outlines, a limited colour palette and iconic imagery like swallows, daggers and roses. Built to last.
Trash polka
A striking mix of realism and graphic elements in black and red. Expressive, artistic and unique.
